Andre and Iris Lasalle have two very different ideas in mind for their new Minnesota home. Andre wants an office space and a place where he can enjoy a hockey game. His mother, Aisha, needs a room in the house to recuperate from an illness. Iris hopes to have places to display her vast art collection. The couple would like a large kitchen and dining room to entertain their large family. In order to appease the various personalities in the home, a subtle Japanese influence was incorporated to keep a clean cut and elegant look. In this team project I headed the design of the floor plans on both levels and created the rendering of both the master suite and grandmother's bedroom. I was also very involved in the material and furniture selection on both floors.
